Monticello Farms is located in beautiful Western Shawnee, Kansas. Western Shawnee boasts a small town feel with metropolitan amenities. We are a town of tremendous community spirit and low crime. Our streets and sidewalks are well lit and maintained by the City and the landscaping is top notch.

 

Monticello Farms is located at Shawnee Mission Parkway and Monticello Road, a 2 minute drive to Kansas Highway 7 and 5 minute drive to Interstate 435. Walmart and Target are within a 10 minute drive of our neighborhood, with Price Chopper less than 3 minutes away. We are also located within a 10-15 minute drive from boutiques and family owned businesses along Johnson Drive and Old Shawnee Town.

 

While our neighborhood park is wonderful for a playdate and picnic outing, our City parks are also a must to visit. Play some baseball at Garrett and Charles J. Stump Memorial Parks, climb on the natural playground at Erfurt Park, walk the trails along Donald B. Gamblin, Jr. Park, grind some rails at the Swarner skate park, or splash around at the splash pad in Wilder Bluff.

 

If the Wilder Bluff splash pad is not enough to cool you down on a Summer's day, Shawnee has two public pools, the Thomas A. Soetaert Aquatic Center and Splash Cove at the Jim Allen Aquatic Center.
